Morningside Heights CSA

At long last, now that I've unearthed my camera cord, we have CSA pictures for all to see!

Our first season of Morningside Heights CSA wrapped up Thursday with a surprise ninth delivery. We are happy to report that the CSA produced nearly $8,000 for Norwich Meadows Farm, a small, organic, family-run farm in Norwich, NY. We had 55 subscribers usually with 2 people per subscription, meaning over 100 people partook in the program.

We hope to run the CSA again next fall, and will be signing up new subscribers in the spring. We are also looking for a new chief coordinator to follow in the steps of this year's phenomenal CSA manager, Megan McNally (thank Megan!). We can arrange for next year's coordinator to receive a free produce share in exchange for their efforts. It's a very rewarding job that brings you into touch with a variety of students, staff, faculty, and various people related to the farm, all to support the very worthy cause of growing the sustainable food market. Please contact Megan at megan.mcnally@gmail.com if you are interested.
